This page contains information for guests at Rize festival, taking place at Hylands Park 17-18th August.
All Guest tickets and Guest List places are non-transferable, not for resale and PHOTO ID is required with all named tickets.
TRAVELLING TO THE FESTIVAL
By Car:
Guests driving to the event, please follow the signage for GUESTS and enter at ORANGE GATE on Margaretting Road.
Guest parking is free provided you have either your Guest ticket or your Guest List confirmation letter to show on entry to the Guest car park. If you do not have this you will be charged the public fee to park.
By public transport:
Guests using public transport/drop off – there is a paid shuttle bus service between Chelmsford Rail Station and Purple Gate at the festival. From there it is a short walk to the Guest Check-in cabin.
ON ARRIVAL
Guests who are driving should go to the Guest Check-In South (by the South Box Office)
Guests using public transport should go to the Guest Check-In North (by the North Box Office)
Each guest must go in person to the Guest Check In cabin with their Guest Ticket and photo ID (good quality photocopies are acceptable), where you will be issued a Guest wristband.
There is no readmission for day guests so please collect your wristband when you are ready to enter the event. Wristbands will be put on by Guest Check-In staff.
If you have a physical ticket or print at home e-ticket, take your ticket to the window marked GUEST TICKET HOLDERS.
If you are on a guest list go to the window marked GUEST LIST. PLEASE make sure you know whose guest list you are on, who added you to the list (or who you are a guest of) and bring any confirmation email you may have. We don’t want to send you away unhappy or keep you waiting around – so please help us to help you.
Guest Check-In North and South will be open during these times:
Thursday 5pm – 10pm
Friday 9am – 9pm
Saturday 9am – 9pm
Arrival outside these hours means you cannot collect your wristbands or camp.
Unless otherwise stated on your ticket, there is a compulsory donation of £50 for the weekend or £25 for the day per ticket, payable in cash at the Guest Check In cabin. All donations go to local groups, projects and charities; details are available on the Festival Republic website. Print-at-home tickets holders who have prepaid their donation will not be asked to donate on arrival to the festival.
GUEST ACCESS
All guests will have access to the VIP area as well as all public areas.
The VIP area is open:
Friday: 13:00 – 01:00
Saturday: 11:00 – 01:00
It includes an exclusive VIP bar and street food stalls; as well as a chill-out area with garden seating. It also has proper toilets, a cloakroom and a glitter make-up station!
GUEST CAMPING & ACCOMODATION
If you have a weekend Guest ticket, you will have access to the Guest Campsite, open from 5pm Thursday.
Day guest tickets do not include camping.
Any guest wishing to bring a campervan, caravan or Winnebago must purchase a pass in advance. Please buy the pass via the festival https://rize-festival.frontgatetickets.com/
Please note! At Rize Festival there is no separate Guest Campervan area, all campervans are parked up in the public campervan area.
There are also a number of Luxury Camping options available to purchase
CHILDREN
No under 5’s allowed on site
Anyone 16 years and over needs their own guest ticket or confirmed place on the guest list.
Guest children under 16 do not need a ticket but will be wrist-banded free if they arrive with an adult guest. They must be accompanied by an adult AT ALL TIMES ON SITE
