BY COACH
Big Green Coach is the Official and Exclusive Coach Travel Partner to RiZE Festival. Weekend campers – arrive on Thursday (with an extra London coach on Friday) in time to find the perfect spot and don’t worry about that drive home on Sunday morning, you’ll be dropped in the heart of the festival and then can sleep all the way home on Sunday!

Day tickets -You will be dropped right in the heart of the festival before music starts and we’ll get you home at the end of the night. Don’t worry about missing a thing, no leaving for the last train or expensive hotels nearby, and no being designated driver.

BY CAR
Please note that the site layout will be different to events that have previously taken place in Hylands Park, we therefore urge you to follow the directional signage. There will be no public access from A414 Three Mile Hill and A414/London Road, please use the designated car parks onsite as well as the pick up and drop off area off A414/Greenbury Way.
If you are travelling from East Anglia follow the A12 to Chelmsford.
If you are travelling from the South or West take the M25 and exit at junction 28 to the A12. Please follow signs from the A12. If you are travelling from the north via the M11 follow the signs from Junction 7 to Chelmsford on the A414. Once at Chelmsford you will pick up the directions for RiZE Festival.
Don’t rely on SAT NAV to get you to the event site as parking restrictions and road closures will be in place.
There is a signposted pick up and drop off point in the car park, please ensure you know where it is located when you are leaving the festival.

BY TRAIN AND OR SHUTTLE BUS
First Buses Essex will operate a shuttle service between Chelmsford Rail Station and Hylands Park for £5 return, these can be booked in advance HERE or alternatively please go to the ticket section and click on extras.
Shuttle bus times will operate at the following times (please note these times may be subject to alternation during the planning process)
Thursday 16 August: 14:00 – 23:00hrs
Friday 17 August and Saturday 18 August: 08:00 – 01:00hrs
Sunday 19 August: 06:00 – 13:00hrs
You can buy shuttle bus return tickets on the day from the Civic Theatre Box Office in Chelmsford, which is only a 2 min walk from the shuttle bus pick up point. Please note that there might be queues, we therefore recommend booking your shuttle bus ticket online in advance.
Civic Theatre Box Office opening times are as follows:
Thursday 16th: 14:00 – 22:00hrs
Friday 17th: 08:00 – 20:00hrs
Saturday 18th: 08:00 – 20:00hrs
Buses run from Coval Lane which is only a 3 minute walk from the station, please follow the directional signage.
The nearest train station is Chelmsford, for rail time tables to and from Chelmsford please visit Trainline or National Rail Enquiries.

Customers travelling to the RIZE Festival on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 August, please note the following last train services:
On Friday night:
The last train towards London will depart Chelmsford at 01.35*
The last train to Clacton will depart Chelmsford at 00.43
The last train to Norwich will depart Chelmsford at 00.05
The last train to Ipswich (change at Colchester) will be 01.48
The last train to Colchester will depart Chelmsford at 01.48 (calling at Hatfield Peverel, Witham, Kelvedon and Marks Tey)
On Saturday night:
The last train towards London will depart Chelmsford at 01.40
The last train to Clacton (change at Colchester) will be 00.08
The last train to Norwich will depart Chelmsford at 00.08
The last train to Ipswich will depart Chelmsford at 01.02
The last train to Colchester will depart Chelmsford at 01.37 (calling at Hatfield Peverel, Witham, Kelvedon and Marks Tey)
Please also note that Chelmsford is NOT within the Oyster card area.
