Dance DJ and BBC Radio 1 presenter Danny Howard returned to his hometown of Blackpool last week to perform at the opening of Pleasure Beach’s latest ride, Icon.
The 30-year-old tweeted about the event, stating “If you didn’t think I was ‘Blackpool’ enough then I’m DJing the launch of a new roller coaster tonight”. He played a huge set with free-styling musician TheSaxMan to introduce the £16.25 million ride.
