Both Stereophonics and Bastille amongst many amazing bands and artists will receive an award each at the 43rd annual O2 Silver Clef Awards in aid of Nordoff Robbins. The two British acts were made aware of their wins prior to the awards ceremony which will take place on 6 July and be presented by radio DJ Edith Bowman.

Nordoff Robbins is an independent music therapy charity that aims to improve the lives of the ill and disabled. It has been heavily supported by many musicians including One Direction, Arctic Monkeys and Peter Andre. The latter will also present coverage from the ceremony’s blue carpet on the night.

Welsh alt-rockers Stereophonics will pick up the American Express Icon Award while electro-rock quartet Bastille will take home the Sky Best Group Award.

Other winners of various awards include The Script, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe, Jorja Smith and Rudimental, while the winner of Ticketmaster’s Best Live Act will be announced on the night.

We are really pleased to have been awarded the Amex Icon Award at this year’s #O2SilverClefs - thank you very much...
